Summer 2010
I have to say, 2010 has been a very busy year for me. In just this year alone, I have five books coming out—three romances and two mysteries.
First, the romances…
The most recent of the lot is A MOM FOR CALLIE, my second romance with Harlequin American! Starting June 1st, you can purchase this love story at eharlequin.com. If you prefer to purchase in a store (like Wal-Mart or Borders), it will be on shelves starting July 13th…just remember, it’s only in the actual stores for one month.
A MOM FOR CALLIE is a special story. It’s about two people who have been hurt and their journey to move forward—a journey that is, at times, difficult but worth it in the end.
If you read it, drop me a line and let me know what you think.
Kayla’s Daddy is still available! Although it is no longer available in stores, you can still find it at various online venues (including eharlequin.com). Kayla’s Daddy received a 4 ½ star “Top Pick” review from the folks at Romantic Times (RT) Magazine in their December issue. To hit that ranking with my very first romance was nothing short of wonderful.
Miracle Baby—my first ever holiday romance—will release in November. I’m anxiously awaiting my first peek at the cover. As for the story itself, it’s really about the awesome healing power of love. And, even more importantly, the beauty in second chances.
And last, but not least, the mysteries…
As many of you know, I’m also a mystery writer. My latest endeavor—the Southern Sewing Circle Mystery Series—debuted on August 4th with the release of Sew Deadly and again on May 4th with the release of Death Threads.
The books, in and of themselves, are the realization of a dream—the series being published by Berkley Prime Crime (an imprint of Penguin Publishing). But it’s the part that’s followed publication that has truly surpassed my wildest dreams…
Sew Deadly not only made its way onto the following national best seller lists--Barnes & Noble,BookScan/Nielsen, and Independent Mystery Booksellers Association—it also stayed there. For weeks. And, as of the writing of this letter, Death Threads has done the same (still waiting to see its performance on the IMBA list). So for that, I thank you. My readers. You helped make one of my fondest dreams come true.
Now, if you’re keeping track, that’s four books so far for 2010 (Sew Deadly released in the second half of 2009). What about the fifth, you ask?
Well, that’s Pinned For Murder…the third book in the Southern Sewing Circle Mystery Series. Pinned For Murder will release on October 5th.
As I’ve said before, I am writing this particular series under the pen name, Elizabeth Lynn Casey. It’s a name I chose myself, one that happens to hold special significance in my life: Elizabeth is my eldest daughter’s middle name and Lynn is my youngest daughter’s middle name. As for Casey, well that’s a name that brings to mind some of my fondest childhood memories.
Although you can find information about me and all of my books right here on this site, I’ve launched a separate WEBSITE specific to the sewing series. There you’ll find neat stuff on the books, a few tidbits about me, upcoming events to promote this new series, and a daily blog where you can kick back, hang out, and make some new friends. A place where we can talk books, friendship, sewing, and whatever else women like to talk about when they get together—just like in Tori’s sewing circle.
Only we’ll try to avoid the dead body part. Deal?
Finally, if you’d like to receive a signed bookmark in the mail, send me your name and snail mail address via my contact page.
Be well,

P.S. Don’t forget to check out my daily blog at www.elizabethlynncasey.com! After all, the more the merrier!
